About Slumbering Cat Productions

Slumbering Cat Productions (SCP) is a small indie developer that is dedicated to bringing interesting game premises to market. Founded by Daniel Burgess at age 17, the first game under SCP’s belt was Bugborne. A pick up and play Android game that involved squashing bugs and using physics to help take out as many as possible. Since Bugborne’s initial release, SCP has been hard at work on multiple projects that adhere to a similar ethos.
Between 2015 and present, a lot of time has been spent learning the tools of the trade. Trying different engines and programming languages to see what works best for our style of games.
Quality is important to SCP, we take huge pride in our work, and want to release something truly innovative and interesting. It’s too easy nowadays to download some assets and cobble them all together and stick it on any storefront that will take it. Games take time and are a learning process, we here at SCP are dedicated to releasing only quality games that ourselves would play.
